About Me

..There's not a lot to tell. I'm the mother of four wonderful children, and a step-mother too. The youngest is 15 old months now and she's amazing! She really brightens my world. My oldest is "13 going on 30". She is the one who lifts me up when I am down, she's my daughter and my best friend. My boys are 9 and 6. They are smart, athletic, and extremely energetic! They keep me very busy. My youngest step-daughter is 10 and keeps up with the boys just fine. I think she's a tom-boy at heart. The older one just turned 13, but unfortunately we don't get to see her that often. Hopefully that will change soon. I have been married for 8 years. I work full-time at a small office here in town. I couldn't ask for an easier job or a better boss. I spend most of my free time with my family. Right now football season is wrapping up and girl's basketball will pick up where it leaves off. There is always something to do. That's pretty much my world for now :)

My favorite type of music is classic rock, but I'll listen to anything if I like it. Some favorites are Aerosmith (Steven Tyler is sooooooo sexy), Creedence, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Melissa Ethridge, Norah Jones, Coldplay, and too many others to name......

Movies:

I love funny movies. There's nothing like a good laugh when you're stressed. Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre, and Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas are a few good ones. And almost anything that has Ben Stiller in it. I also like thrillers and a good love story now and then.

Television:

I'm a Law & Order junkie, watch it every chance I get. I also like true crime shows like American Justice, Cold Case Files, and City Confidential. We've been watching a lot of the Baby First channel lately. They've got some great programming and Tessa really likes it.

Books:

The last books I read were the Shadow Children Sequence by Margaret Peterson Haddix. I couldn't put them down. I've read almost everything by John Grisham and Toni Morrison. As much as I love to read, I usually get through magazines before books. Jane and People are my favorites.
