Listen to RadioRosco !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!---- Biography – September 2006 ----It all begins in the summer of 1977 when Rosco aKa Le French Guy plays the Juke Boxes again and again to listen to Kraftwerk’s Trans Europe Express… In the mid 80s he starts mixing Funk-Disco in the clubs of the Paris area and private parties and discovers the House Nation. He joins shortly after that the radio world (Voltage Fm 1984-1991) where he produces and hosts Dance shows in which Blaze and Marshall Jefferson meet Whispers and The Strikers…In 1991, Rosco aKa Le French Guy joins the national Skyrock network. After a few daytime shows takes over the « Max Party » (Dance Music programm) in which he initiates the French public to acts, undiscovered at the time, such as Nightcrawlers ‘’Push the feeling on’’, Zhané ‘’Hey, Mister Dj’’ , and to the new House sounds. The audience follows him when in 1996 Rosco aKa Le FrenchGuy, still willing to bring new motions to the public joins the team of the new Skyrave show and his Dj Dom.Together they bring « Skyrave » to be the most listened-to electronic music radio show, inviting the biggest French and International djs to give their best during session mixes. Rosco aKa Le’French Guy, now in charge of the show, is starting today his 10th Skyrave season.Meanwhile, Rosco aKa Le French Guy also works in Le French Lab, his home studio, and produces his own idea of the electronic sound. He works for various record companies on compilations (he mixes the first « Top Dj » for which he gets his first silver disk). He also produces the « Megamix » of Jimmy Cliff ‘s « Best of » album released in 1994, 4 times gold disk since then and re-released in August 1998.Today Rosco aKa Le French Guy focuses on bringing exclusive sound to his programme through the production of extensive mixes of artists such as Madonna, Moby, Daft Punk, Cunnie Williams…He also djs in various clubs : Portugal (Tavira), Maroc (Marrakech), Folie’s pigalle, Gibus, Alcazar, Batofar, in Paris and Calvi (Corsica), Lyon, Le Havre, Rouen, Lille, Montauban and many private parties ( Parfums Dior, Telecom Companies…).His dj sets in which he introduces live instruments (Guitar, Sax, Flute, Percussions…) are of an inovative style , « sexy and sensual » and are an invitation to pleasure…And his will of sharing ever more with the public and to go further by giving all he can to the dancefloor brought him to come up with this highly effective concept of Rosco feat.
