AWARE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE: A COMPILATION IN COLLABORATION WITH HOSTAL LA TORRE - The Inspiration that is - La Torre..........For those of you that dont keep your ear to the ground La Torre is one of Ibiza's , not for much longer, best kept secrets. It has been growing in popularity as an underground, alternative, Sunset Venue, and although does not seek publicity it is steadily attracting a growing number of Ibiza's beautiful people come to watch the sun fall to the sea accompanied by orchestration from the decks. Again, although not advertised these decks have seen the likes of 'Jose Padilla' work his incredible musical canvas, amongst others. It's also where 'aware' are privalaged to do their D.J sets, and although we believe La Torre's resident D.J to be the master, we have had great responses from the audiences at sunset too...If you cant get to the real thing, or if you can and would like to remember it, you cant do much better than this album. The tracks come from both established and new artists, all are excellent, and part of this new cult that we believe to be one of the lasting faces of Ibiza Chill Out.We are aware, no really we are, didnt realise there's so many 'aware's here', If you're looking for Chill Out 'aware', Hed Kandi etc...then you're in the right place...finally on MySpace..well, nearly! What have we been doing? Living in Ibiza off and on for the last six years, playing and recording, that mostly in the aware cave, a hideaway in middle England. Most reecently we wrote a track for Cafe Del Mar's Dreams compilation, but are supposed to be writing an album, two years and no matter how many tracks we write we always have six? Am sure we'll be back out to Ibiza perfoming again next year, but we tend to hide away in the mountains these days rather than the strip, and we seem more into D.J.'ing too. Funny, we seem to get into things just as the others are leaving. We like it that way I think, seem to prefer the underground culture, we've always done our own thing I suppose.
