Band Members: Dan Tuffy, Marc Constandse, Michiel Hollanders
Influences: Ella Fitzgerald, Howlin Wolf, Son House, Lightnin Hopkins, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Nina Simone, Phil Spectors wall of sound, deep soul, the late great storyteller Spalding Grey, the upper reaches of the Macleay Valley and its floodplains, a couple of those great local country pickers back there and a horse I once rode up Temagog way called Trident. Also, the book "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" written by a 23 year old woman in 1940 whose name evades me at the moment, Mohommad Ali, Steinbecks "Cannery Row" and Greek Rebetiko music about smoking hash and dancing on tables or around graves. Not to mention the music of the Rroma and the Balkans, and I really like old cars on dirt roads and surfing good waves is probably the most important thing Ive ever learnt to do in my life. And last but not least the lads I play with and my family Lotte, Joey and Zsa.
