Miki Abe started to perform and make home-recordings under the name Cherry Straw in eary '90s as one of his solo performing styles. Screaming and mumbling, he plays wah-modulated electric bass guitar accompanied by cassette tapes full of complicated rythm and junk noise he recorded. After releasing a few cassette tapes, he started to play with friends as a band for occasional stage appearance. Current members are Miki Abe, Saitto Elettrico, and Shintaro Kiyonari.
