I love a good night out dancing with the girls, a warm fall Saturday afternoon watching an OSU game with my friends, and laying on the beach soaking up the sun. I read (a lot) mostly fiction, but often whatever I happen to pick up. I work a lot, but make up for it on the weekends. I like to travel, and Paris is next on my list. I am contemplating doing it alone, but I hate to be on the plane for that long. I have done a wide variety of things in my life. I've been to a demolition derby, seen OSU play in the rose bowl and in the National Championship Game, sat in the box seats at Fulham Field, seen Old Faithful, been to the Grand Teton Mountains, seen a glacier calve (that's when the ice falls off the side of the glacier in huge chunks), been inside Buckingham Palace, touched a saguaro cactus, purchased shoes on Roedo Drive, swam in both the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans, seen baseball games in eleven different stadiums (including getting to shag balls in Wrigley Field during pregame), "ran" a 5K (ok, I walked), rode in a helocopter (on the way to the glacier), an the list goes on. I like to LIVE life. Not watch.
Michael Stipe, Gahndi, Johnny Cash, Chipper Jones, John Lennon, Condeleeza Rice. Of course, some of those guys are dead, so how about interesting and outgoing people who are honest, fun, and who love life. I can be friends with anyone, but if you are looking for any more than that, only single guys need apply...single, normal, smart, funny, and fun to be around.
My favorite band is REM, but the band I have seen in concert the most is They Might Be Giants. I am mostly an alternative girl, but I can listen and sing along (badly, I admit) to almost anything. Enjoying Watershed's new live album very much.
I enjoy the TV...I will admit it. I watched Veronica Mars before the bastards at The CW took it off the air. I am a fan of LOST, Grey's, 24, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother and I can't get enough of... BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER! Best Show Ever. DVR is a great invention. Lets you go out any night, and catch up on TV when you are bored, or can't sleep. Looking forward to The Reaper this fall. Kevin Smith rocks.
If it has words and a plot, I will read it. Ken Follett, Laurell K Hamilton, JD Robb. Mostly political thrillers, murder/cop/lawyer stuff. Sometimes some chick lit, if I need some fluff. Oh, and Harry Potter
