During this decade on Brazil but also in Italy..s Dark Rock-Electronica scene, ASH, has performed some projects under a dozen of different styles experimenting with everything from "unstructured clutter mind and sound testings" to "ambient" noise. Now the EROTIC JULIET project headed in a new direction with a high professional produced studio album in several years. Red Light Cabaret. Self-released on the Machine House Recording label, the majority of the album was performed by Ash with Cobra on guitars and Alex C contributing synth on 3 tracks and 6 tracks mixed by Alex C (Sepultura - Root..s album producer).
With Erotic Juliet, ASH leaves behind the stacked slabs of large sound that classified his earlier projects and takes 'Red Light Cabaret' into the most structured actual European albums patterns, aggressive synth, and bass lines fused with sound collages, trash guitars, moody keyboards and anger vocals.
While earlier projects have been the result of some covers and creative partnerships, The Erotic Juliet..s Red Light Cabaret sets itself apart as a clear representation of ASH and COBRA..s talent and their ever-evolving musical vision that just came out after some years.
ASH has been involved with electronica music since his 2004 recordings consisting in a couple of experimental noise-depressive creations. The last few years brought new musical projections and a new gear into the mix, giving rise to a period of rhythmic, sample-based and electro compositions under the pseudonym of EJ Project.
From 2003 to 2007 ASH and COBRA teamed up with Alex C (Sepultura..s and Paul D'ianno..s Producer), Alessandra L (Fashionist Photographer), some relevant names during their all time production such as Industrial Mafia Productions (which represents The Dope Stars Inc, Kubrick), Virginia Punko (Top Model - Vogue Cover) and later on D.K. (for a bass experience).
EROTIC JULIET credits groups such as Nine Inch Nails, Masonna, Prodigy and other creative DJs as their heaviest influences over electronica experiments and ambiances. ASH has been deeply involved on his own writings and artistic works while Cobra develops his career as a sound producer by working with Industrial Production and now moving to Brisbane, Australia to expand his horizons.
