Married with children... that is the short version.
If you want the life story... here goes:The facts: I am married with children.Ok...a few more facts...If you know me, you know me for one of these reasons: 1. I lived in Sparta, Tennessee. 2. I lived in Keokuk, Iowa. 3. I lived in Davenport, Iowa. 4. I lived in Altoona, Iowa. (outside Des Moines) 5. I lived in St. Joseph, IL. (outside Champaign.) 6. I lived in Denver, IL (outside Carthage.) 7. I live in Hamilton. 8. I married Missy (after knowing her 2 months... that was 16 years ago.) 9. I have 4 biological children... Brittany 15, Drew 14, and Caleb 7 and we just welocomed Miley Rose on 12/27/07 http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/m/mileyrose/ 10. Missy and I were Master Foster Parents for ICCHM for a number of years in St. Joe. 11. Missy and I have had 70 foster children pass through our care. 12. Missy and I have adopted 2 children... Cassie 14 and Logan 14. 13. There have been many jobs I have worked... from high school to now I have done about everything. 14. I currently work for Hamilton School District. 15. I manage the Hamilton Pool. 16. I am a proud Hamilton Vol. Fireman 17. I am a member of E-Free Church. 18. I beat cancer... with love and support of family and friends.
Optional information: Life is good. There is nothing I wouldn't do to go back in time and enjoy being kid again. To be 7 and hang out with my Granny, to be 11 and meet my friends at Honda trails to share a cigarette thinking we were cool but only to get sick, to be 13 have sneak our first beer at the Y dance, to be 15 and sneak out on ahot summer night to meet up with the first love that we "knew" we could never live without, to be 16 and cruise Main all night back and forth squealing tires and doing donuts at the river, to be 17 ...17.... crap, I met Missy on Main street back then and we got married. That is when being a kid ended and having kids began.
But the story doesn't end there... it only begins. First comes "LOVE", then comes "MARRIAGE", then comes Roy pushing a "BABY CARRIAGE". So married with children, the greatest accomplishment in life... the headaches, heartaches, bills, scraped knees, runny noses..........and bedtime kisses, hugs that heal, little barefeet leaving foot prints everywhere, late night movies with popcorn, four-wheeling and camping, sitting around a campfire on a cool night with hot chocolate, and at night crawling into bed with the only person in this world that can be considered my best friend, the confidant, my security, the love of my life.
