Married with two cats. Play the bass for fun. Enjoy doing things that don't require instant gratification; knitting, sewing, gardening,and reading long books. I am a blood donor, working towards my 6th gallon. I also am in a volunteer group that knits prayer shawls for hospice patients.

Team America, Young Frankenstein, Bull Durham, Forrest Gump...anything with a happy ending...

Television:

Nothing in the summer. This is Minnesota. TV is for winter.

Books:

"The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King is my favorite. Most other King books are great, too. I collect church cookbooks. They are the best place to find the comfort food recipes we all need.

Heroes:

Grandma Rose, who restored my spirit.
