_____________________________________________"My advice to you is to be conscious of God and steadfast in your faith. Do not yearn for the world, and do not be seduced by it. Do not resent anything you have missed in it. Proclaim the truth, work for the next world. Oppose the oppressor and support the oppressed." Imam Ali (from his last will and testament)

Imam Ali once said to one of the generals under his leadership, with regard to advice in the treatment of people: "O' Malik, the people are either your brethren in faith, or your equal in creation." (so treat everyone well)

"Some people worship God for the purpose of His gifts. This is the worship of merchants. Some worship Him for the purpose of avoiding His punishment. This is the worship of the servants. Some worship Him as showing gratitude to Him. This is the worship of the geniune ones. It is the best of worship." Imam Husayn ibn Ali

"So there is a similarity between the belief of the Muslims and the belief of the Christians...Now, as you notice Christianity does not take its beginnng from the birth of Jesus; nor from the ministry of Jesus. But Christianity takes its beginning from the most painful and critical aspect of his life. Its begins ono the basis of his passion under the judicial decree of crucifixon."Isn't that interesting? You would think that a religion would base its beginning, or start its calendar, from the birth of a great man or from the beginning of his ministry. But Christianity takes its beginning in the most sad and sorrowful, painful and trying time of the so-called Christian era when Jesus was being crucified, and his friends were leaving him.""Its disburbing to see this powerful human being in a state where it appeared as though he had no power to save himself. But this is the beginning of Christianity. Islam is somewhat similar.""Islam does not start its calendar from the birth of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Nor does Islam begin its calendar from the first revelation of God to Muhammad. But Islam begins its history, its calendar with a death plot against the life of the Prophet from which he escapes and fled from his enemies."(from a judicial decree from the Quraish tribal "authorities". Prophet Muhammad fled, over more than 200 miles, of rock, sand and desert. He took refuge in a mountain cave, and as his enemies, who were tracking him and in hot pursuit the entire way, came upon the mouth of the cave, where Muhammad and Abu Bakr where hidden, a spider magnificently and miracously spun a web over the entrance of the cave mouth, giving the appearance that no one had passed thru the cave for quite sometime. Therefore the enemies passed the cave by. THESE WORDS IN PARENTHESES ARE MINE AND ARE NOT TO BE CONFUSED AS PART OF THE QUOTED MATERIAL BUT RATHER ARE ONLY SUPPLEMENTAL TO THE LITERARY ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATION OF THE BOOK WHICH IS QUOTED)"So, when you hear the Muslim calendar given--this is the year 1406, I believe--1406 AH, after the hegira, or after the flight of Muhammad on the heels of a death plot."So here is a critical time in Islamic history, and a critical time in Christian history where these religions take their calendar from""Now what should we learn from that? There's a lesson here. That in our darkest hours, an hour when you think you should give up because the forces arrayed against you are so mighty; so powerful; and they look as though they have totally overwhelmed you, it is in THAT hour that your greatest opportunity for triumph is in you. And it is in THAT hour that most people give up the struggle and they never come to victory over the forces that apparently overwhelming them."

"By the Time, surely man is loss, except those who Believe and do good, and exhort one another to Truth, and exhort one another to Patience." Suratul Al Asr (Holy Qur'an Sharrieff(The Noble Holy Qur'an)Allah(God, Yahweh,Jehovah,Jah, etc.) is never as small as we'd like to make him, to fit our on selfish needs or narrow beliefs. The Holy Qur'an asks the why Allah(God) created us all of various hues. Next, the Holy Qur'an gives us the reason: "because Allah loves variety"-and elsewhere in the Holy Book (and this is also mentioned in the Holy Bible, as well) we are told that the "variety" shall be a trial for those in whose hearts there is a disease...

We should look carefully into matters, before judging or coming to an opinion. As one of my law professors once queried "Who is offering the evidence, and for what purpose." Things are not as they seem. On the one hand, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is depicted and cast in a certain mold, as is the Nation and Muslims in general. On the other hand, we should be careful, lest we judge something that is good for us as being bad, and miss a blessing. Everyone doesn't have to join up or agree with every point of view. However, we should be educated and refined enough to form an independent and impartial decision for ourselves, rather than be lead to a conclusion by those who wish to take us to hellfire with them.
