Ask any real soccer player.. most of us hate it, but we couldn't imagine our life without it. it's a part of us. its a love/hate relationship. its what we live for.. the practices, parties, cheers, long rides to tournaments, the hotels, the kickass cleats, gatorade, team bonding, and all the coaches you hate (even though you really appreciate every thing they do) we live for the way it feels when you beat your rival by a goal in the 90th minute and you know that those extra sprints you ran in practice were worth it after all. we live for the annoying songs we sing in our head when we're running mile after mile. we live for the playoffs, championships, and even league games. we live for the friendships we make and even the ones that end. we live for the action shots, the memories and getting all dressed up for tournament dinners. even the pain, sweat and those gigantic grass burns we get when we make a sweet slide tackle.. we live for all of it. its who we are. its who we always will be.
