My name is Scott T. Robertson at STR STUDIO and I have over
20 year experience as a Musician (drums, programming drums
and synth), Studio Engineer and Producer. I work with some
of the biggest artists in the business, musicians and video
directors who trust me to deliver professional results for
their important projects.
My Background - I attended Audio Engineering School in New York City
in 1987 and worked in New York’s Top Recording Studios. Throughout
my career, I’ve worked with some great engineers and producers,
then, in 1996 moved to Atlanta and worked for Ichiban Records.
While working at Ichiban I had the pleasure of working on the
dirty south sound. In 2000 I opened STR Studio. I have worked with
such artist as Ying Yang Twins, EastSide Boyz, Dem Franchize Boys,
Bum B, Fabo of D4L, Young Dro, Raheem The Dream, Bone Crusher,
Getto Mafia, Dungen Family, Goodie Mobb, Khujo and T Mo, Cameo,
Bubba sparks, Archie, Pastor Troy, Kizzy Rock, Sammy Sam, DJ Smurf, Shy-D, Rico Wade, Scrappy, just to name a few Rap and Hip Hop artist here in Atlanta. I also work with Rock, Jazz, RnB, Gospal, Country, Blues, artist or if you just want to experiment with some new ideas, I'm ready.
Important Recording Info. - I use Protools HD, has over 100 tracks
of audio and with 24 inputs, I can record a whole band live. For
special projects, I also use an Otari (24) track (2) inch tape machine,
wired directly into Protools.
Prices start at $50 an hour - $200 for (5) hour block - $300 for (8) hours
of recording. Price includes Engineer, Recording, Mixing, and Mastering.
We have a large live room, large control room and a large vocal booth. Production is priced separately, we can Produce any type of beat or music trk you need, and vocal couching to get the most from the artist . My studio is private, quiet, off the beaten path and the hours are from 1:00 pm till 4:00 am, if needed.
