Short Story
I am me. My name is Elizabeth and I was born in El Paso, Texas many moons ago. I am the daughter of two people; Mom, a very hard working and strong Irish Roman Catholic and Dad a true Shaman and Elder with the Circle of Elders of the Kansas City Tribes. I am also a big sister to one person, my awesome younger brother. He's actually smarter than me and way funnier, too. He's also the only other one in the family (including 100 or so cousins) that understands my Stargate addictions. Sadly, his taste is not perfect he just can't fly the 'verse the way that I do. *wink*
Also, I must work! I must eat! And I must play!
A bit of a longer version
I am me. I was a 17 year running hair stylist and colorist for pay. Award winning, even. At this point, I'm just trying something new; just seeing what the Universe has in store for me because I'm tired of trying to control the future and messing it up along the way. But I've had one hell of a ride up 'till now. I've been a wrangler at a horse ranch, I'm a Desert Storm Vet(officially anyway) and well I've done so many different things that I don't even remember them all at the moment. For fun I act or act out depending on who's telling the story, and since I'm telling it I really enjoy film acting. I'm not anywhere near famous and not planning on it (won't turn it down if it happens though) so don't grope me and stop staring at me at the grocery store! At least if you must stare and grin like you know me, put your damn teeth in your mouth first! *shudder*
I believe in working hard for what you want and playing even harder. And naps! *big grin* I so love early evening naps! But I still enjoy being active and playing hard.
I thrive on learning. From ancient Celtic histories to linguistics (I suck at languages but I'm still fascinated), through Egyptology, Space exploration, Quantum Mechanics, String Theory, Relativity and Buddha, there is so much to learn. And then there is the study of most martial arts and Medeival living. Actually, if it's not reality t.v. and not catty or stupid BS then most likely I'm into it.
