I am a copy editor/sportswriter at The Daytona Beach News-Journal. I don't know how to say it, but I'm kind of a big deal around there. I have many leather-bound books at my desk -- including the Associated Press Stylebook -- and my cubicle smells of rich mahogany. I'm friends with the Davidsons. We talk quite often. (OK, not really)I have been at the N-J for 8.5 years since I graduated from the University of Florida in 1999. If i look familiar, it's probably from a bar stool, likely the Ale House or Halftime's.
