..........QUITMAN McBRIDE III BIOWOW! It is hard to believe this Young man! Quitman McBride III is a talented, Cape Central High School honor student with astonishing skills in music/singing. Quitman III is going to be a star!! He is an energetic powerhouse who has performed throughout the heartland. Quitman McBride the Third has entertained audiences at Southeast Missouri State University basketball, football, and baseball games, as well as singing at Austin P. University in Clarksville, Tennessee, Rock Island and Alton, Illinois, St. Louis, and many more locations.Quitman III is a well spoken, adorable, seventeen year old crowd pleaser. He has also performed for Cape Girardeau County Veterans Home, Ratliffs Nursing Home, The Home For The Aging in Cape Girardeau, The American Cancer Society, Area Law Enforcement functions, The National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, the Miss Diamond Cape 75th Anniversary Pageant, the local D.A.R.E. program.
Quitman III stays busy with performances at the Central High School’s Contest Concerts where he has made states each year from a freshman to a senior. This is very exceptional, very few students has achieved this. He has place 1st and/or 2nd in Speech and Debate Tournaments all over. This young man is breaking color restriction by landing leading characters parts in local plays. Quitman III enjoyed being the king this year in the Cape Central Madrigal Feaste. He has song on (The Sounds of the Season) “A Christmas Story†for the pass several years.
Quitman McBride III has been in demand for events like the Cape Girardeau Mayoral Breakfast, the N.A.A.C.P., the meeting of the Cape Civil War Descendants, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Breakfast and the list goes on.
He was featured on the front page of the Southeast Missourian newspaper in Cape Girardeau, and appeared on the CBS affiliate - KFVS TV- 12. Quitman III has also been a guest on the News Radio 960 KZIM morning News Watch with award winning host- Faune Riggin, with his music being played also on Sundays on other stations like: KAPE radio 1550 AM and KLSC - 92.9 FM. Quitman III even had a clip of his videotaped performance shown on the OPRAH WINFREY Show on February 9th, 2004 on the Pop Star Challenge! He WILL be a Star!
Quitman McBride III was born in Dallas Texas, March 5th., 1992 His Parents: mother Mrs. Sarah (walker) McBride & father Mr. Quitman McBride, Jr.
Quitman III is an only child, he love music, acting, art, singing, reading, traveling, skating and playing play video games. Quitman III began to sing at the young age of three with The North Dallas Community Choir before moving to Cape Girardeau Mo. in 1995. He sang with The House Of Prayer Choir of Cape Girardeau for a year before he went out on his own. Quitman McBride III has performed for many churches, clubs, organizations, and other events all over this state and other states as well. What a talented young man!
Quitman McBride III rank in the top ¼ of his high school class, and the top 20% in the nation on his ACT. He will be auditioning for prestigious Berklee College Of Music in Boston Mass. on January the 16th 2010.
