Reverend Jackie H. Williams Jr. was born May 2, 1961 in Goldsboro North Carolina, and is the Eldest son of five children of Bishop Jackie and Evangelist Margaret Williams of Newark N.J. He is married to Karon Denise Sherard of twenty-five years, and together they are the proud parents of one son, Brandon Montrell Williams who is currently in his sophomore year at Hampton University. Rev.Williams was raise in Newark N.J. where he graduated from Weequahic High School in 1979. After leaving High School, Williams joined the U.S Army, during which time he received his calling into the ministry and was ordained with the Church of God in Christ while serving in Heidelberg West Germany. During Williams 10 year tour in Germany, He served as the Interim Pastor of the Bad Hersfeld Church of God in Christ for four years, as well as the YPWW (Young People Willing Workers) Jurisdictional President of West Germany. After serving twelve years in the U.S Army, the Lord saw fit to call Rev. Williams out of the U.S. Army and back to the United States to pursue an education in ministry. Williams is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, and is presently pursuing his Masters of Arts degree in religion at Hartford Seminary in Hartford Connecticut. Reverend Jackie H. Williams served faithfully for 15 years as the Praise and Worship Leader and pianist of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in New London, CT., where the Reverend Dr. Benjamin K. Watts is the Pastor. An exciting new chapter in Rev. Williams’s life began when he accepted the call to be the Pastor of the Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of New Haven Connecticut in October 2006. Rev.
