Hey! Yep, its Lauren. I am 26 years old...I graduated in May 2005 from Chapman University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies...finished my student teaching, got my Elementary Teaching Credential, and then was a long-term sub in a 3rd grade class for 2 1/2 months! I FINALLY got a job teaching 3rd grade at the same school my mom works at in Tustin. The class I "adopted" was absolutely amazing! This year I am teaching 1st grade, which I couldn't be happier about! I love sports (watching them...not playing them). During football season you can find me and my husband sitting in front of the TV on Saturday, Sunday, Monday night, and sometimes Thursdays watching college football(preferred) and NFL games! Usually, I will have a Corona Light or Stella Artois in my hand, and my husband, a Coke. I am a bit of a UCLA fan (and you wondered why my dog's name was BRUIN!?!?)....I have had season tickets to UCLA football games for many years, so don't knock my Bruins...or else!!! This does cause problems in the Stofle household at times, as my husband is a bit of a USC fan. I guess it is true what they say, opposites attract!I am a very family oriented person, who will do anything for those close to me. My mom is my best friend, as she has been my support throughout my life. My grandparents are like a 2nd set of parents to me...I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for them showing me how to love and succeed in life. Since I am an only child, my cousins are my siblings and I love each of them very much. I know my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th cousins quite well, and would never consider them to be "too far removed to be considered family." And of course, Josh...he is the love of my life and the best friend a person could ask for...God truly blessed the broken road that led me straight to you...I love you Josh! As for the rest of the Stofle/Larsen family...they have welcomed me into their lives with open arms. I am lucky to have another set of parents, grandparents, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, and awesome aunt, uncle and cousins that are as close to me as my own family. And then, my friends...you are all my family as well...you are the best!! Kelly, (my pseudo-sister), thank you for standing by me even when we were far apart...I love you! I have led a priviledged life to have known the people I know and to have experienced the experiences I have...I thank God for each of these people and experiences every single day! In the past year, I got married to my wonderful husband, Josh on 6/30/06...I got my first REAL teaching job...we bought a house in Trabuco Canyon, CA...and now we have our first baby, a blue Great Dane we've named Bruin! Now, we are expecting our first child, due November 26, 2008!! We couldn't be any more excited to begin parenthood! Click here to read our blog
