At the first meetingsthere was a guitarist and the drummer (in the autumn of the same year they moved fromMurmansk to Saint-Petersburg to play mathcore) and Noek, who found a premise in a southeastof old Petersburg under the future base. In the spring ' 05 the base has been constructed atparticipation of group 'Sti%&ata' invited for cohabitation which has proceeded till nextspring.The first rehearsals took place, and in May bass player Timothy has joined group.
The first tracks were written and played for several months. The group existed within thelimits of the base and carried the name "The Phantom of the Lock ". In the spring ' 06 thegroup has been renamed in Maria:AbortChosen, and has played the first gigs in Peterbourg'sclubs.In the beginning of summer it has been concluded long-term unity with group DeadKeds,which have moved on the base instantly, and studio Number Dom records, which Director(Kostya Number) has organized to group record of the first EP - " Taking Nails Out Of MyselfGerminating With Lilies Of The Valley Everyday"In the autumn in Petersburg took place " Chaotic Mosh Fest " - the first, becometraditional and regular action, organised and prodused by Maria:abortchosen, also the grouphas some gig In Moscow. In March ' 07 group has performed at SPAM awards...
