'go wherever you want, and we'll get you some beers'

About Me

..
i like music. a lot. i like seeing bands live. a lot. it's expensive and i'm often tired and sometimes hungover, but there's nothing like it. when i'm not doing that, i'm saving kitties and lounging around bookstores, coffeehouses and brewpubs. i spill things, i'm fidgety, forget everything, and run into things often.

my favorite description (thanks O!): so many good bands. you must be a witch. you brew potions before you go to see a crap band and then you make them all drink it and KABOOM! they come out good. im loving the cold war kids. and wmmf? well, theyre my kind of leaf, in a bag, that i would pour hot water onto. you're a witch. a witch. a good witch.

My Interests

fume blanc in summer, malbec in winter, broken english, steel guitar, muted trumpet, christmas lights, old men on bicycles, gardens, vanilla, new crayons, cheese, jukeboxes, ten penny ale, armored cars, kissing, live music, lyrics, wine, microbrews, coffee houses, used bookstores, dictionaries, road maps, retro, chai, my cats, hockey, tattoos, late nights, sleeping in, coff-ay.

I'd like to meet:

music lovers. concert goers. coffee drinkers. brilliant lyricists. people who are a bit strange, have smart-ass wit and rely on sarcasm more than is necessary. sweet and tender hooligans. loafing oafs in all-night chemists. someone with good shoes.

"i think like any public service, music is necessary to people. To live a good life, you have to have music in it... I think that the role of musicians, like all artists in society is to help people see the beauty of their own lives and moments of knowledge and transcendence that people have everyday. I think musicians and all artists help people achieve those moments of self-knowledge and self-understanding." - Torquil Campbell (of Stars)
