Ladies and Gentlemen. A New Year, a New start. A time for one another to realise what we need to do in order to improve our lives and the lives of others. For me, that realisation is music.Yes people, I'm Spitfire and this year I guarantee you'll understand why I do what I do. Coming from Birmingham, there's a big reputation to live up to in terms of talent, trust me we ain't short of it, but where the hell does this talent go? Unrecognised, Unappreciated, left to dry out on the beach while all the talentless wannabes are playing in the ocean that is respect and achievement.
Therefore driven by both passion and discontent, I'm aiming high. See I'm doing what I do for the UK, Birmingham will always be my favourite place but the world is bigger than Birmingham, however our talent is too big for the world, a vicious cycle that only the foul seem able to break, while the great fall into shadow as it were.
What I'm trying to tell you is, it's time for real talent to move on up in the musical world, and I'm part of that category, I won't leave this world until I've done what I came here to do, and that's to be successful in the industry. So watch for me this year people, and out to everybody else doing there music business, real talent such as the Legion Breed, Gifted and other people's names I ain't gonna drop simply because some people see it as kissin up because they're pathetic, so basically out to all the true artists.Here's something to think about, truly, you can never be the best in music. People have different definitions of greatness. Some see it as commercial success, being top of the charts in every country worldwide and everybody knows your name. That maybe, others see it as being truly talented, you might not be worldwide, but you can paint pictures with your sounds and words, vivid and wild pictures the stuff of which most people couldn't even begin to dream of if it wasn't for hearing what you had to offer. These are just a few of the definitions people define being the "best" by, and due to this, nobody can ever truly be the "Best", they can only be what they are.
