Regarding Ms. Lewis' Donna Elvira at Tri-Cities Opera..
A former resident artist at Tri-Cities Opera, La Toya Lewis performed the roles of Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni and Micaela in Carmen. Upon graduation from Binghamton University's Master of Music program, Ms. Lewis participated in Joan Dornemann's International Vocal Arts Institute where she performed with the San Juan Symphony. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Lewis covered the role of Miriam in Lee Hoiby's The Scarf with Chelsea Opera Ms. Lewis recently performed the role of Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte with Underworld Productions.
In Summer 2007, Ms. Lewis covered the role of Clara in Porgy and Bess with the Utah Festival Opera and performed the role of Consuela in West Side Story.

In 2006, Ms. Lewis placed second in the 2nd Annual Charles A. Lynam Vocal Competition in Greensboro, NC and was a Finalist in the Spring 2006 Jenny Lind Competition.
At her undergrad, Purchase College, Ms. Lewis performed such roles as Belinda and the First Witch in Dido and Aeneas and Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro. Oratorio works include Soprano soloist in Vivaldi Gloria at Purchase College and Soprano Soloist in the Bach B-Minor Mass at Binghamton University.
This July, Ms. Lewis will perform the role of Susanna in Il segreto di Susanna with Opera Manhattan.{}
