Also known as “Chulisi,†Andre has been performing since he was 12 years old. He has since performed in various off broadway plays such as “Banjee,†“Off to See the Mayor†and “Louise Escapes Her Life.†His one man show “Making of a Wo-Man Part 1 and 2? were critically acclaimed and highlighted his skills behind as well as in front of the camera serving as playwright, producer and director. In addition to theater Andre has appeared in independent films “Blind Date†and Spike Lee’s “3 AM.†You can also catch him hosting NYC’s annual “Glam Slam.†In the early 90s he released 2 records (freestyle and house).Having created Lose Control he now serves as writer and director, often choreographing dance routines as well as performing in various sketches. His talent for writing comedic dialogue is sure to make Andre on track to take the comedy circuit by storm. He has written all characters and sketches based on experiences and personalities from his life. In addition to Lose Control, Andre is also working on publishing his novels of fiction and poetry.Andre can also be found providing spiritual consultations and guidance for other artists.
