Just one word... Plastics.

About Me

Jeremy Quist used to play keyboards in California. Then he moved to Boston and wasn't able to immediately get his keyboard out there. Subsequently, his attempts at making music included the use of a guitar that he doesn't really know how to play, a glockenspiel that was added to his Christmas list one year as a half-joke but surprisingly was given to him by his loving parents, a toy melodica that cost roughly $1 on ebay but the shipping was outrageous, and a sampler left over from his past forays into hip-hop. For better or worse, this is the result.Jeremy was a kitchen manager at a cafeteria, a manager at a record store, a pension administrator, and a technical support analyst. Now he's in graduate school for cinema studies. Where they just watch movies all day and nothing else. Jeremy thinks Rushmore and the Graduate are the two best movies ever made, but what does HE know? He also thinks that when you combine Elvis Costello with Burt Bacharach, perfection is achieved.Jeremy lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Suzanne, who currently works for Harper Collins and as a freelance copyeditor. And she is the bestest. After a while, Jeremy's allergy shots finally kicked in, and they now have two cats: Feist and Orbie. And they are also the bestest.

The demos.

I've got some rough demos up. Please let me know if you think they sound like country songs being covered by New Order. Cause if they do, then that's really neat. If they don't, wouldn't it be cool if...
