EVERY SECOND

Created with mySpace Profile Editor Rising from the ashes of South Shore metal acts Triphammer and Wargasm, Every Second was formed in late 1996. Their first EP "Snap Out of It" was well-received by critics & fans alike, with the band garnering a large local following & a reputation as a killer live act. Sharing the stage with the likes of Godsmack, Staind, Biohazard & Reveille, to name a few, dates throughout New England & into the South followed, with live in-studio performances & repeated airplay on the area's major rock/metal stations. After releasing "System Failure" in the summer of 1999, the band was thrust further into the spotlight, landing on the cover of the Northeast Performer in late '99 & a slot in the 2000 WBCN Rock and Roll Rumble. After parting ways with founding member Franky Murphy, the band went through a series of personnel changes with help from many of Boston's finest metal giants lending a hand. Honorable mentions & kudos alike go out to the following: Pat Tapia (OHM), Mikey Rorick (OHM, Waltham), Mike Marchand (NOK), Rob Guidotti (Street Dogs), Rob Lore (D-Con, RRM), Giulio "G-Krank" Manfredonia (Krank Squad), Rich Spillberg (Wargasm), Bob Mayo (Wargasm), Jim Shippey (Nullset/GBB/Drinkfist) & Robbie Davis (Shudderbox). The boys eventually parted ways in late 2002, but leave behind a musical legacy and their stamp on the Boston metal scene.
