About Me

My name is Brian and I am Mr. Jennifer Marshall. I am currently living in Bartow, FL. I was born & raised in Parkersburg, WV, which we all know for....umm....well I suppose it's not known for ANYTHING. I am perpetually stuck in 1988. So if you are talking to me and I don't respond quickly enough, I'm probably having a conversation with Kevin Arnold from the Wonder Years in my head or something. Aside from my adoration of most forms of rock & metal music pre-2000, I love 80's metal music (mistakenly called "hair-metal" by common ne'er-do-wells) , 80's horror movies , Winona Ryder, and finally after years of public ridicule, I have embraced and cherish my 80's-ness. In addition to this disturbing section of my existence, I also enjoy playing guitar and laughing at you. My real life consists of my "bubbly" wife and puppies, my parents and brother, and all my in-laws believe it or not(especially G to the R to the A-N-N-Y). La-di-friggin'-da for me, eh? That's 45 seconds of your life that you will never get back.

Axl Rose Is An Idiot

Axl Rose is an idiot. I knew it as soon as I saw the video for "Welcome To The Jungle" in 1987. Look at him. He is obviously straight from the trailer and he somewhat resembles a wet, angry rat.  ...

The Day The Redneck Anthem Was Chosen

If there was something that got my mullet in a bunch in the late 1980's, it was how the wonderful folks in my hometown of Parkersburg, WV almost turned me off to a perfectly good rock band, AC/DC. I c...
