I was born to be what I am Yesterday, which makes me what I am today & tomorrow! Thoes who know me from back in the day are more inclined to remember DJ Icy J Makes Your Day. My whole state of being was centered around music. As a matter of fact, it has been declared by UMM (MOM)that my first word was record. It must be true, because whenever I had the money, I went to buy a few. And that's just putting it mildly. I'd listen And learn to play songs in school bands, amature street bands, & orchestras. This pretty much went on between New Jersey & Ohio until the early to mid '80's. Then I got exposed to the likes of the Sugarhill Gang, Sequence, Africa Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force...But it was Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five that really made an inpression on me. Particularly, it was Flash that Influenced me most especially since I had that natural inclination to records. That led me to my most beloved past time, Dee Jaying. I began observing the various styles of different jocks which in turn laid the foundation for the development of my own style...
