Cris Style was born Nov. 11 1982 in Kansas City, M.O. His birth Name William Christopher LaMar II he lived there till he was 2 when his mom was shot in a drive by shooting. That is when his parents decided that K.C. was not a safe place to live so they moved to Las Vegas, Nv. Cris Style grew up in all types of environments but he never had to taste the hood life for his parents provided everything for him. Cris Style was a only child if he wasn't with his friends he would sit and listen to music rapping his favorite rappers lyrics in the mirror (Y'all act like Y'all didn't do that). Instantly music became his first love but one thing Cris notice growing up that it was nobody in Vegas in the music industry so he made up in his mind that one day he would put Vegas on the map in the music industry. Although Cris was unsure what he wanted to do at first he tried djing, producing and managing but no of them gave Cris that energy that he was looking for so he decided rhyming. At first Cris rhymes wasn't great but the more he perfected his craft the more he improved. Until one day his best friend Zuri "Adonis" Whiters not knowing the outcome allowed Cris to get on the track "Your Friend looks better" Cris Style surprised everbody and showed he was worthy on the track from then on Cris was rapping on everything and his best friend and him formed a group called Public Figure . First they rap for then record label Gametime Ent. where they appeared on the GameTime compilation "It's Gametime" Vol. O.N.E. where Cris Style hooked up with producer and friend Wilson "IQ" Ildefonzo where they made classic hits like "Ain't Shit to me" and "No Contest". Public Figure also got radio play for the summer jam hit "All The Things I Do". All was well until Cris's partner Adonis and The C.E.O. William "Knox Prime" Hines started to bump heads so Public Figure decided to leave. So Cris Style Started working with his homies but he found out with some homies you can't do business with them . So with too many hidden agendas Cris Style stopped and took a rest from music. Of-course that rest didn't take long for Cris Style hooked back up with long time friend to form their own label TiteWork Ent. "Somethings you have to do on your own" Said Cris Style So coming soon he's dropping a mixtape/Compilation with the whole Titework Family . Also his solo album is coming soon.
