..I am a raver, as I am a dead head as it relates to psychedelic shamanism & spirituality and what a long strange trip it has been, the awakening aka "the Trip" began in 1993 in Salt Lake City once introduced to the Salt Lake Underground and the Rave counterculture my life took some interesting turns and twists fate or manifest destiny my reality was soon created in fractal images across the mind scape of my existence. Allot of existential travel and through the creation of the Suntribe as a group of travelers on a similar journey I learned and realized all the possibilities that the universe had to offer me. Here is where I will thank all of those people you know who you are for the lessons of which I still build upon today.Allot has happened between then and Now and allot can be said maybe one day it will as time revolves and perspectives change it may actually matter someday to someone besides me so there I was.......Skipping ahead to 2001 I had the luck to meet my wife Terri the candy raver-hippie chick sport'n ADIDAS (how could you not fall in love) while visiting Wyoming playin DJ at a local club with a fun field romance full all of the great aspects of a Brad Pitt & Julia Roberts Movie including a Lovable Stuffed purple Bear named Huckleberry, of whom was really a lost polar bear in a Montana in a Huckleberry Bush, (separate trip, but great story)and great cloak and dagger not necessarily Bonnie and Clyde of past escapades more like an old western with cowboys and Indians, I'm not the indian but the astrological aspects of the 2 Lions competing for the kingdom always makes for an interesting time, wait until we figure out what we can accomplish when we work together, usually its one of those things like ya never know whats going to happen until its over type of thing. We went to Mississippi and lived in Natchez for a year visiting civil war battle grounds, Mardis Gras with our friends Ryan (Rydog)G-llespie and his girl Cathy, Ryan searched the streets of New Orleans for days looking for Avril lavine to no avail , after finishing our tour of the South and reuniting with my daughter in Kentucky after 8 years we moved on to the Crest of the Cascades to a little town called Toketee close to Crater Lake and 60 mile from Roseburg, hanging out in Eugene, then on to San Fransisco where we left Jerry a cigarette at 710 Ashbury, and I still swear I had a Robert Hunter sighting. Then finally we landed back in Kanab for the 4th time, something about those Red Rocks.Most recently after an extended stay working for the United States Forest Service myself, my Wife Terri (thank You she became my second my space friend so I did not seem to be such a loser) my step-son Sammy he's 7 on 4:20, and my daughter Alexis she is 14, and a typical teen-age girl. ENUF said, anyway, I left the forest service and all that held my life, our life, secure within our home and government employee created world to take a step outside the box and really take a chance on our expertise and knowledge in the fields of fire management, forestry and ecology and offer it up to the private sector please go towww.wildmountainfire.com for more info.At the same time the ability to offer and give to the community especially in the area of arts and culture has always meant allot to me so we created the Red Rock Art & Music Foundation a non-profit 501 c 3 organization who is producing the Red Rock Concert Series and the Red Rock Bluegrass and Folk Festival 2007-2008 in Kanab Utah, pleasegoto www.redrockmusic.org.We also have a great circle of friends who truly live, love, and laugh and feel strongly about all that matters from the River to the Mountains and the Red Rock Vistas of Southern Utah they are some of the best people I have ever known and am glad to a part of their family not everyone knows how to deal with the insaneness that is me. Onward...I am happy living on the edge of the universe here in the red deserts of Southern Utah where every day is a vision quest with my loving wife Terri and mostly great kids Sammy and Alexis.
