Note from Laura
Bienvenidos! This is a page for my four bunnies & my two cats. I, however, am obviously the person 'behind the bunnies.'
This page is primarily for pets and/or their owners. I'll occasionally post blogs dealing w/ my personal interests, but normally blogs will be related to my pets and their crazy antics.
If you want to be my friend, send me a message to La Coneja .
However, I will not accept friend requests on this page or my personal page from supporters of controversial issues that may be offensive to some viewers. I prefer tranquility in my life without all the DRAMA.
Enjoy the info about the rascally rabbits!

MY CURRENT BUNNIESShadow (9/00-current) was a companion for Thumper. He was purchased from a pet store, in which someone else wanted to purchase him for snake food! Poor little guy! Although I love all my bunnies, Shadow's my favorite. He's my diggy, growly little boy! The only way that he'll snuggle with me is if I have my arms wrapped around him. If I move before he's ready to get up, he'll growl at me and begin digging on me! Talk about being spoiled!!! He loves to play too! Check out this old video clip!

Babsy (04/01-current) was returned to the pet store whenever she was 5-6 months old. She seemed to be such a sweet bunny and Speckles needed a friend. I remember the day that I brought her home. Speckles immediately started doing binkies. It was as if he knew that Babsy was just for him. Now they are inseparable. Babsy's is probably my most curious of the bunch. She's such a sweetheart, even though she can sometimes be "Little Miss Priss!"
Luna (10/05-current) was an unexpected Christmas present. I was going to try my luck at bonding Shadow with the two big bunnies again, instead of getting another bunny. However, a friend brought over Luna on Christmas day in a little purple gift bag. Luna and Shadow are still not completely bonded, even though they do enjoy each other's company. Luna has finally decided that being a snuggle bunny isn't a bad thing. Update: Luna's finally been spayed, so now I'll start trying to bond her with Shadow.
Memo (3/07/08 to current) I'm still trying to figure out how old the little guy is. He seems to be around 4-6 months old. He was bigger than all the other bunnies. My guess is that he was another unwanted bunny that hit his teenager rampage, and the previous owners brought him back to the pet store. He definitely will have to get neutered asap. He is named after my favorite goalie for Club de America, Guillermo Ochoa!
THE CAT'S CORNER
Ok, so the four rascally rabbits also share the apartment with two cats....especially now since it's so hot outside. They're basically turning into house cats, instead of "inside/outside cats."
WHATCHA LOOKING AT?
Ralph (orange) and Leo (gray) were two stays that were at my apartment whenever we first moved in back in September 2005. Ralph kept wanting to come into my apartment from day one. After talking with the neighbors, I found out that he use to live in my apartment & his owners had desserted him. Leo has always been skiddish until just recently. Slowly but surely I'm finally winning his trust. We've adopted them both and they're very much loved.
Everyone always asks me if the bunnies are scared of the cats. Well, the truth is the cats are more scared of the bunnies than the bunnies are the cats. Most of the time they just ignore the other....well, all of the bunnies except for LUNA. Miss Luna LOVES Ralph. She wants to play with him, but most of the time Ralph wants no part of it.
