PICTURES BY shamiltanna.co.uk UVRAY featuring T.MOSIAMO is the latest collaboration between producer Yuval Gabay and vocalist Trudi Mosiamo . Their live P.A show consists of Gabay integrating his music with drum programming and special effects with Trudis expressive vocals, creating a high energy show of newly explored beat terrain.
T.MOSIAMO is a veteran of the Bristol scene, she has been leading her own band, Mosiamo ,(winners of Glastonburys best unsigned band competition 2004 ), to great reviews and enthusiastic crowd responses all across the board in clubs and festivals such as Glastonbury, Harbor Side, and Ashton Court . Venue review of Ashton Court 2005 stated: "Crisp Funk with a fine female vocalist wielding a voice big enough to carry across the entire site. Fabulously tight and snappy and born to play the main stages anywhere. GABAY is a producer and drummer known for his work with American band Soul Coughing(Warner bros.) and a vast live and drum session work with artist such as Suzanne Vega, Lauryn Hill, Roni Size Reprazent, Krust and many more. After living in N.Y.C for 20 years and extensively touring around the world, Gabay shares his time between NYC and Bristol UK. In Bristol, he works as Full Cycle"s in house drummer and programmer while continuing to produce his own music and collaborate with other artists in the Bristol scene.
A relatively new project, UV Ray and Trudi Mosiamo are finding themselves on new ground opening up infinite possibilities of musical expression.
