I am the proud aunt of nine beautiful children: Alyse(11), Hannah(7), Ryan(5), Emily(5), Jacob(2), Reece(1), identical twins Lauren and Abigail "Abby"(1) and Emma(newborn). My sister Zela is expecting her second child, a girl, in February. I have always had a special bond with children and would make a great mother; however, I have contemplated not subjecting an innocent child to this harsh ideology called "life". Thankfully, I made the wise choice at an early age to never be subservient to alcohol, tobacco and drugs being the obstinent and strong-willed person that I am. I was born and raised in Garland and Sachse and am currently living in Rowlett. My mother did a remarkable job raising three children full-time as a divorced parent. There is no other who works more diligently than her; she has more energy than the three of her children combined. My father is a successful entrepreneur and an avid golfer. As surreal as it may be, the reality is that he was diagnosed with transitional cell cancer in 2006. After undergoing chemotherapy and the surgical removal of the affected kidney and lymph nodes, his aggressive cancer is miraculously in remission. I credit him for my athletic ability and great sense of humor. My mother, on the other hand, does not always appreciate being the recipient of my practical jokes. I sympathize with my sister Stephanie because she has no coordination and tends to be moody, lol. I love my family more than life itself; I love family gatherings and eating home cooking. I, along with my family, enjoy outings at Benihana and III Forks. I am addicted to Sonic's sweet peach tea, Häagen Dazs' Orange Dream Shake and Starbucks' Gingerbread Crème Frappuccino. I would describe my body type as being curvy with a few extra pounds. I am a Christian; my convictions are strong and unwavering. I am like the wind: I can be calm and soothing or a force to be reckoned with given the right conditions. I have an appreciation for nature and it's beauty; I am notorious for capturing clouds with my camera and exposing myself to the elements to experience a meteor shower. I am fascinated with the scientific aspect of tornadoes and would love to chase storms with a professional. I collect historical memorabilia from The State Fair of Texas, and I, along with my family, am an avid fairgoer. My most prized possession is my Dooney & Bourke collection. I have one possession that these female Hollywood types cannot purchase on Madison Avenue or Rodeo Drive: class. A onetime shopping addict, I have become very content with being conservative and purchasing just the necessities. I love to play miniature golf and aspire to learn the game of golf. I am fascinated with the designing and engineering of roller coasters, primarily accelerator coasters [e.g. Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point], which are hydraulically launched. I inherited my intelligence from my late maternal grandfather who was a chemical and nuclear engineer. My sister Stephanie received a Master of Science in Accounting, my brother Jason a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and my sister Jessica a Master of Science in Social Work. I am extremely proud of my siblings and admire their tenacity and motivation. Even though I am the oldest, they are my role models and inspire me to succeed. Needless to say, my family is disappointed in me, which is warranted, because I was destined for greatness and took a detour. I do have realistic goals and aspire to be a registered nurse. I am a perfectionist and my own worst critic; it is clinical. I am like a sponge and love to absorb as much knowledge as possible. I can solve the Rubik's Cube and have mastered Pac-Man and Prince of Persia; my all-time favorite video game is Galaga. I have my motorcycle license; owning a sportbike, preferably a Gixxer, is on my accomplish-before-I-die list. Seeing both fighter jets and sportbikes in action gives me a rush. Through adversity, I have and will continue to persevere due in part to my inner strength. [But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26]
