Yeah! I just started my M.S. for Environmental Biology at Hood College. It is awesome to keep working towards my dreams, but it is crazy to be back in school again. Deadlines suck, sorry if I have been neglecting my social requirements! I currently work at Fort Indiantown Gap as an Ecological Monitor protecting the Regal Fritillary Butterfly. I am stoked b/c they are going to pay for me to go to school! AND I get to be involved with the attempted reintroduction of the butterfly to its historical range all over the northeast, an opportunity that doesn't come around often! I am sooo excited about my research project and am looking forward to presenting the proposal to my committee at the end of October. If you want to chat up some science with me, I would love to hear from you!
I married Joe in June 2005 (after over five years of dating) and couldn't be happier. We are living in Carlisle, which may sound hilarious to some of you because I spent my entire HS career talking about moving away from this place...I still vow I will not be here for ever (In the background "Hangin around" by Counting Crows plays and I daydream of new adventures.) That will have to wait for now, Joe an I bought our first home and moved in in the beginning of July! I couldn't be more grateful for what we have made for ourselves and being surrounded by our family and friends in the same town I grew up in.
