I am a senior at Queens College and majoring in elementary ed and english. For fun, I usually hang out with friends, go to coffee shops, movies, shop at the mall, surf the net, and spend my life on the phone. Other stuff that I like to do is read poetry (Hughes, Tennyson, Angelou, Cisneros, Browning among many), listen to all kinds of music, and dance and sing when noone is looking--ok that's not true, I dance and sing all the time in front of the kids I work with...only when I am by myself I don't get the weird looks as if I've lost my mind lol. I don't have many close friends because life just keeps moving making it hard to stay in touch with people that I find interesting or worth knowing. I am naturally a very sensitive person (so don't make me cry) and one who cracks under too much pressure, so I guess I should start taking yoga or something so that my friends don't have to keep telling me to relax (you know who you are ;-) ).
