Some Days It Doesn't Pay To Chew Through The Restraints!

About Me

I grew up in West Texas, San Diego, and Ensenada Mexico. I fly for a living, I cook, build web sites and do graphics for fun, I play Blues Harp for The One Night Stand Blues Band for LOVE. Come hang with us and our friends. "If Anyting is Worth Doing, It's Worth Doing With Passion!" ..

My Interests

I'm 49, DWM(the w is relative to what time of year it is. ;- ), Professional, Honest, Secure, A Gentleman, Spiritual (not religious), active but don't live in a gym. I am 6', 230ish, not in perfect shape, not a slob either. I bounce between 220 & 250 a lot. I used to live in a gym, but have spent more time working on the inside of me.I am comfortable with who I am, don't need ego trips or macho garbage. I don't do games. Friends tell me I have a good sense of humor when my practical jokes are at them.Love kids (they usually have me wrapped very quickly) but don't have any.Very much a helpless romantic, but, I feel that if a relationship (be it a friendship or more) is going to be successful it has to have a strong foundation, much like a building. If the foundation is set right, then during the rough weather one does not have worry with it all falling apart. For me, I feel that the foundation needs strong cornerstones. Those cornerstones of a relationship say a lot about the people in the relationship as well as them personally. For me, those cornerstones are: Friendship, the most important Honesty (Trust and Fidelity) Communication Spirituality Romance and Passion, not just physical passion, but passionate about life itself. To me if something is worth doing, it's worth doing passionately. Well, everything except maybe yard work. ;-)I love music, Parents were both musicians, very diverse range of music I enjoy. From Bocelli to Elmore James. Play blues harmonica for The One Night Stand Blues Band. Favorite music, Texas and delta based Blues, R&B, Motown, Classic Rock, Reggae, Windham Hill even some Big Band stuff (throwback from when my Dad played with them), some oprea. Like to dance, but not all the time…I love tropical hang-outs, even if you have to pretend on the back porch. No big tourist things. My perfect getaway is, going to a beach that requires a passport to get there, no phones, TV's or tourist spots. A large pool right by the beach, so the biggest decisions you had to make was, lay out at the pool, or the beach, in the sun or in the shade. And which pair of shorts to wear to supper. And will I have seafood or seafood for supper? Then after the day is through with laying out, exploring, shopping and supper is done, mozy on over to the little tiki hut and hang out with people you've met there, and dance a little. Then go to sleep with all the doors and windows open, waking up to the ocean breeze and fresh fruit for breakfast...and of course, someone special to share it with.I enjoy being with friends, whether it be mine or yours.I like to cook, but not out of a box, same goes with the wine. Seafood, Cajun, TexMex and Chinese are my favorites. Like to have a good time, but not a lush.Favorite movies, (all time, #1) Sleepless in Seattle, Meet Joe Black, Groundhog Day, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Thin Man Series (1940's series), Stealing Home, Sherlock Holmes Series (Basil Rathbone).Favorite Book, You Are Special by Max Lucado, Celestine Prophecy, He Chose the Nails and do enjoy most Tom Clancy and John Grisham. In search of the perfect bottle of wine (Merlot) and someone not perfect to share it with. What I don't like: yard work, excessive anything, lying, frozen t.v. dinners, yelling, rudeness and oh yeah, yard work.
