Heaven and Hell (Chicago)

About Me

A CELEBRATION OF DIO-ERA SABBATH AND MORE:
.........As a musician, there are some projects/gigs you have to be a part of just for the pure LOVE of the material and the fun that performing it brings to you. For the members of Heaven and Hell (Chicago), this is one of those projects.
CLOSE YOUR EYES AND OPEN YOUR EARS: Imagine a Black Sabbath Tribute experience centered around the Dio era....include the Sabbath bible of Ozzy songs, but also sprinkle in some well chosen, high energy tunes from Rainbow and the Dio solo albums, and you have a sampling of what a night in the clubs is like, when Heaven and Hell comes around.
GREAT NIGHT OUT: "Our primary goal is to provide the music-lover with the opportunity to go out and enjoy a killer live show, jam packed with music that they just can't hear live anymore, and ultimately provide a place where people gather to celebrate the music and the power of those times."
QUALITY ABOVE ALL ELSE: "When we decided we were going to take this to the public (and not just play for our own enjoyment), we started with a few things we could not and would not sacrifice: we were going to tackle material most bands wouldn't (or couldn't) touch, and we were going to play it with accuracy and reverance."
HUMILITY and RESPECT: Posch states, "This music is bigger than us. It is engrained in the hearts of its fans. Many of them know every nuance. Another faction thank us for helping them remember the power and energy of an era deep in their blood....if not ALWAYS in their CD player. And the best is- the handful of people who have, somehow, never heard these songs, and become fans through our shows."
Posch continues, "If it's because the songs we chose to play are so good, they're irresistable...that's great! We have another believer in our midst. If, in any part, it's due to the class with which we approach the PRESENTATION of this music, then that's all the better! Then we've done our jobs as entertainers and musicians... at the same time as doing our own hearts some good! Because don't get me wrong, it's just plain, simple, big time fun up there! The bottom line is: if we're going to take on the task of presenting this material to the loyal fan, we need to take that responsibility seriously."
BARRAGE OF HITS: From The Mob Rules, Children of the Sea, War Pigs, Faries Wear Boots, Holy Diver and Man on the Silver Mountain to Heaven and Hell, The Last in Line, NIB, Rainbow in the Dark, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Falling Off the Edge of the World- this band's set is not to be missed.
CLUB OWNERS AND PATRONS AGREE: Heaven and Hell (Chicago) bring power and professionalism to their shows nightly. More importantly, this band of accomplished musicians and performers show us what so many bands have forgotten- that a pure love and respect for the material is VITAL to transferring that excitement to the audience.

At the subconscious level, the Sabs, Dio, and Blackmore..in some combinations of the above have influenced all of us... and through us, our original projects as well. It's inescapable. These mindsets...the subtle dark power...and these emotive lyrical forces settled into our blood long ago... and we're happy to have them there.."
