heelo. The name is Clare. I am one of Shanthi's good mates (well so I think I am) lol and 2006 was my last skool year with shanthi as I moved. Well this is my good-bye letter to her!
Dear Shanthi,
I can’t believe that I won’t be going to school with you anymore. As you said, it feels like you’ve known me for a lifetime but it’s only been 2 years. It really does feel like a lifetime. I remember my first words to you were, “Are you in 9C?†I am lucky to of met you as you are such an awesome mate of mine and even though we have had our ups and downs, you will always play a part in my life, even if we won’t be able to see each other much.
I will always keep in touch and on my days off; I will come back to Mentone Girls and visit all of you. I get butterflies writing this because when I actually think about it, you have to live life as it comes. I take it for granted and I now wish that I could go back in life, and re-live my most favourite memories. Some of which, I spent with you. Thanks for being one of my good mates and I will NEVER forget you. The end of the year came so fast, so unfortunately, I couldn’t get you a bird for Christmas. =P ..I know you just love those precious things! hahaa.
I hope you never forget me and I hope you go well in VCE and in the future. Keep me up to date with everything, especially if Kate has started her on business with fly swatting. At the end of next year, I will have all of you guys over for a reunion, to see my new house as it will probably have the pool by then.
Thanks for always lending me money when I needed it and hopefully I paid you back for all of the times that I did! Well there’s not much else I have to say except I hope you go far for who you are and never give up! You’re a cool Kidd and I am going to miss you heaps when I go. Well good luck for the future and next year, don’t steal too much plasticine! Don’t miss me too much! =] I LOVE YOU LOTS!

Shanthi is one of the most unique and awesomest person you will ever meet. I was lucky enough to meet her first, when she came to MENTONE GIRLS SECONDAY COLLEGE in 2005 and ever since then, we have been good mates. We have shared many AWESOME memories together and I will miss her heaps! Anyone that comes into her life is pretty much lucky as she is one of the nicest people I know. Even though she hates birds, I still love her heaps! ♥ALWAYScLaRe.// xx
