Payback is a monthly night of soul, funk & jazz music with resident D.J's.It is held the 3rd friday of every month only at the New Adelphi Club, De Grey Street Hull.Payback started as a weekly club night in 1999 at the long since gone 'Room' nightclub in Hull and has run as a monthly event at the Adelphi since September 2002.The music played covers a large area of soul funk and jazz music styles with lots of latin funk, soul jazz, jazz funk, disco funk and many other fusion styles, lots of heavy funk soundtracks ...fuzzy funk rock...heart beaking soul...tripped out mellow grooves...you name it its all here and more...Payback has a large and loyal following of friendly people and lots of newcomers each month...looking forwards to seeing you there soon.
