I am a medical student no longer. BUT i still read and read and read and read and read. And I still don't read enough....ugh :)

I'm shy, but some people know better. And I'm quiet, but some people know better.

I value honesty and truth above all else. Someone once said, "If you have integrity, nothing else matters; if you don't have integrity, nothing else matters." Live it.

Sure I'm Romanian, but that's not who I am. We like to place people in categories and files and boxes; I can't fit inside a box.

I like the rain in a way that makes me wish it would five out of seven days a week. Seattle sounds good for a while; I wish I was braver.

I love animals, every last one of them. And I like bugs, they're good for us. Snakes should die. Don't be fooled, they are not good.

I don't like superficiality and fake people. You only have one life. Why waste it trying to be something you're not. "Because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

If you ask, I'll tell you the truth. You've seen soap operas, you know things always come out when all your bitter enemies are around to hear it. You're better off knowing up front.

I wrote a poem once, it was great. Then I thought I would be a writer. Turns out, I can't write. Oh, well, science is cooler. Plan B is ballroom dancing.....when I'm 60.

When I was little, my mother said to me, "You can't change the world, you're just one person." We'll see.

TRUTHS:

You may not have control over everything, but you do have control over how you respond. Everyone has problems, deal with yours.

The fantasy is ALWAYS better than the reality. But fantasy is fleeting. And reality endures.

The grass is NOT greener on the other side, we just can't see the dirt under the delusion.

Everything happens for a reason. The reason is God.

You can't know everything. Trust me, I've tried. And you can't have perfection, tried that too.
