I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Hi! I'm Christine; creator of 'Diary of Hope'. I'm an illustrator/writer—a visual storyteller. I believe successful storytelling is founded on good writing; not special effects and gratuitous elements, but engaging the reader through breathing characters involved in believable and exciting worlds.I live in South Florida presently, but am hoping to work in Los Angeles 6 months out of the year. Being an illustrator, I get to do different facets of art: painting and gallery shows, portraits, business cartoons for corporations, comic book covers and interior pencils and one of my favorite disciplines, forensic art. I'm FBI-trained, having attended the FBI's Forensic Facial Imaging class for 3 weeks in 2004. I learned three kinds of forensic art: postmortem drawing, composite drawing and facial reconstruction from skeletal remains. I love faces, and that's probably why I loved this class so much. My teacher, Karen T. Taylor, makes appearances (that is, her hands do) on CSI for facial reconstruction scenes. That's when the team has a skull and has to make a clay face on it, or, a technique Karen invented, draw over a photo of the skull, tissue depth markers in place.
