He is also the current UKC professional Super Light Heavy Weight Kickboxing Champoin of North America and a former Amateur World Champion known as "King Ken Hewski."Since the opening of his martial arts studio, Mr. Hewski has continued to be active in the world of martial arts.In January 2005, he was the recipient of the coveted martial arts hall of fame spirit award for achievement. Also, in 2005, he was honored with the prestigious title of third ambassador to the first martial arts history museum in America.In January 2006, Mr. Hewski was chosen to be a member of the Chuck Norris World Combat League. he is one of a team of six martial art athletes representing New York State.
