A few things that i have learnt from my adventures so far....----- 1. DO NOT JUDGE OTHERS- We are all equal. Wars, genocide, torture, murder, hatred, injustice, intolerance, and discrimination all occur because people do not understand, tolerate, appreciate, respect, accept, and educate themselves about other cultures. Only GOD can judge us!! No one is better than the other. Be open-minded and appreciate others for who and what they are.----- 2. TRUST is one of the most important aspects of a relationship whether it is between a parent and a child, friends, family or a significant other. Once trust is lost it is difficult to gain it back. Always have integrity. Treat others as you would expect them to treat you.----- 3. DO NOT TRY TO CHANGE SOMEONE- Change occurs when a person is willing and ready to change themselves. Accept the person for who and what they are. Appreciate the good characteristics and provide support and advice for the not so good. Have patience, understanding, and compromise.----- 4. EDUCATE YOURSELF- KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. The mind is the strongest weapon. Feed your brain with books, intelligent conversation, positive like-minded people, life experiences, educational movies and television. Every experience should be a learning experience. Learn from your mistakes. Don't be afraid to discover the world around you.----- 5. HELP OTHERS- Open your heart, your schedule, and/or your wallet for those who are less fortunate. It is empowering to give without expecting to receive. However....
