I was brought up in a singing family, and later gained a passion for singing myself at the tender age of three. I started singing at Lockett Memorial Church of God in Christ and later went on to sing at many other engagements to pursue my musical dream. At a young age, with the especial help of my grandmother, I started entering singing competitions, art classes held at Wayne State University, a modeling class, (John Robert Powers Modeling School) piano classes, and started getting into acting to help pursue my dream. While attending elementary I started singing in the "Boy's Choir of Detroit" and later got involved in glee clubs, drama clubs, future teacher committees, student counsels, and talent shows. Including a talent show held at the Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan in which I won second place, and stared in school plays to enhance my dream of become a performer.While attending New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, I joined the choir and got recognized by a church member who offered me a chance to record for the first time at the age of twelve. At this age, with a big influence from my favorite artist "Mariah Carey" I also began to write my own songs, stories, and plays. This was yet another hidden talent that I possessed. After writing my own songs, I later gained an interest in producing music as well. I entered Denby Technical Preparatory High School in August 2000 and I joined the concert choir and learned to sing different types of music such as classical, spiritual, and jazz in my pursuit of R&B and gospel music. I went on to sing at the District Solo & Ensemble Festival for high school students, in which the students sing before a judge and get rated on a scale of one to four. One being the highest for an excellent rating, and four being the lowest. I received a one all 3 years I attended. I also became head of the freshmen newspaper called 04 Monthly, and achieved great success in scholars. Now i am in persuit of becoming one of today's top successful performing artist and writters known for the talent that God has blessed me with!
