KABURA is a hard rock/metal band that hails from Richmond, Virginia. Mixing hard-hitting, technical and inspirational music with heart-driven lyrics, KABURA is able to separate itself from most other bands out there. Coming from an area where just about every form of metal is prominent, KABURA stands out as one of the most creative and original. KABURA formed as a result of several Virginia based bands who experienced mix-ups and break-ups. Members include vocalist Kevin Hagaman from Failsafe, guitarist Ryan Nuttle formerly of Chalkline Beauty, former bassist Kevin Wyatt and guitarist Rick Johnson from Fallen Under as well as Drummer Jon Ward from Earth to Andy. They have been featured on radio stations like 101.1 Y101 (Richmond, VA), 102.1 The X (Richmond, VA), as well as being featured in Richmonds "Richmond Times Dispatch. At this time KABURA is still recording their first EP. Look for this to be released in early summer/late spring of 2007. Until then KABURA will keep creating music, entertaining crowds, and having a blast while doing so.
