69 Sounds

About Me

69 Sounds was founded one year ago as production-team and part of the reggae-funk-jazz-band PJuice to realise the music beneath the bands they were and are playing in. Started by DJ Plattitude and drummer Doesh, keyboarder Phil joined after a short period and now guitar- and bass-player Bok completed the studio-team, in which the whole work from raw sampling and recording to final mastered tracks is done. Before starting 69 Sounds, Plattitude was, and still is, busy with DJ- and producer-Team 'Les Cracheurs de Feu', djing for several bands from NuMetal to Punk and with his own Soundsystem, while Doesh plays drums for Punkband 'Sewap' and was responsible for the whole artwork of the label FLOOR Records and most of their bands. Phil, who plays the cello as well, collected several HipHop-experiences doin DJing, MCing and producing. He is, as the whole team, member of PJuice. Bok started playin bass in several bands as big, rock and NuMetal. In the moment he plays for SEWAP, PJuice and several coverbands.Together, they could collect the experience of hundreds of livegigs at clubs and festivals all over Germany plus some abroad, more then a dozen recordings and some radio appearences. Today Doesh and Plattitude are specialized in beats and sample-work while Phil takes part in songwriting and playing most of the instruments, for which they also collect musical input from Bok who just joined the group. Mixed and mastered by Plattitude and Doesh at their new studio IsleLaidBack and recorded at their lab BillbrokeYaNeck, they finished over 100 tracks and collaborated with artists from Germany and U.K. to U.S.A.
