I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a mom and a teacher. I have a lot of interests, from listening to jazz or Bossa Nova to emailing pen pals around the world. I love to cook, especially international cuisines. I've been a vegetarian for almost 26 years, but I never try to convert anyone to my way. I try to respect everyone's right to live as they see fit, as long as they aren't hurting anyone. I have four terrific kids, who are all grown up now. They all have good hearts and I'm proud of that. I teach ESL, or English as a Second Language. I love my work. I get to meet so many interesting people from around the world. I believe that people are mostly good and that we'd have a better world if everyone could just treat each other as human beings and try to see that good, rather than the bad. I try to be fair-minded, but sometimes I slip. I keep working on that. I think we're all a work in progress. Some of us have gone farther than others. That's life. Here's my new website: http://alexwalters.englisharoundworld.com/..
