Shake-A-Leg Miami is about one thing. . .water. Water is the essence of life. At Shake-A-leg Miami we believe in the power of water and its ability to heal and rejuvenate the soul. Our mission is to empower disadvantaged youth and children & adults with disabilities. We run youth and adult programs year round which focus on recreation and education through hands-on activities inlcuding sailing, kayaking, swimming, island explorations, science education, art, music, dance, video production, and much more. Shake-A-Leg is known for innovation in education and recreational therapy and has been recognized nationally by the Department of Education, featured on CNN international, and has been chosen by the to United Nations to help create & share success stories of people with disabilities.
