Started to dj back in the days in 1997, when Bonzai ruled the world and I thought trance was the coolest thing on earth! Fortunately, I discovered house music. I formed a duo with Kevin Planckaert as Stimulax dj's- we played mostly house & techno but god i was so bad in mixing! After a few years we went our own musical way and I met Pieter. We became d'Ache & d'Elle and played in many clubs & pubs, we even reached semi finals at Diesel U Music. He had more perfect mixing skills and i had good taste, so it worked quite well. After a few years, our musical taste became too different and now we both go our own way.
Nowadays, I only play the music I like...and that's quite a lot. In little bars I play everything from jazz, psychedelica, funk, new classical, in clubs I prefer to mix a dark, long trip blending house, techno & minimal.
However, there's always room for some inspirational rock moments like The Beatles. I just try to blend everything I like in one set, depending from the open-minds of the public.
