About Me

MARTY MANOUS -- Guitar-- Started playing guitar at age 14, drawing influences from blues, fusion and rock greats. By 16 he was gigging around Atlanta and gaining recognition for his signature style. A recent graduate of the Atlanta Institute of Music, Marty has studied alongside great players including Nite Driscol, Bill Hart, Steve Cunningham and Jimmy Herring. Taken under the wing of Carl Culpepper, he started to explore different genres of music and developing his guitar approach even further. Doing studio work around town, Marty has even done sessions for and with Grand Funk/Ted Nugent producer Cliff Davies and played gigs on the east coast with his rock/ fusion project. Currently, Marty is teaching music privately at Fret Not Music center where he is Head of the lesson department. Working on an instructional book, and doing what he loves most: gigging and recording with his original project and studying music.------- CODY KING --Drums -- Cody met Marty around 12 years old and instantly sparked a friendship based on a mutual love and respect for music. Around 15 he started to play drums, laying it down for church on Sundays and gigging around town in his first band. He drew inspiration from blues, rock, funk, jazz and gospel, and developed a very thoughtful and solid approach to his instrument. Working with Ted Nugent and 70's fusion band IF drummer Cliff Davies, he honed his skills as a player. He is currently studying Music History at Georgia Highlands, studying drums privately with a master musician/drummer, and gigging. ----- MATT MIERZWIAK- -Vocals- -A young man with a lot of raw talent. Matt started singing and studying vocals seriously when he was 18, but he would not start his professional career for another two years when he took the advice of Cody King and auditioned for the Marty Manous Band. Matt stepped up to the plate quickly when he performed for his 2nd time at the Masquerade in front of 200 people. Matt is currently singing with STREAMLINE REVELATION, and studying his favorite vocalists: Greg Allman, Warren Haynes, Ronnie Van Zant, and Joe Bonamassa to name a few. Be sure to catch Matt's soulful vocals coming to a town near you. ----ADAM HOLCOMB--Bass---Adam is an amazingly versatile Bassist, who is consumed by the spirtual aspect of the instrument. Adam is a schooled musician that has studied with many great players, He also has played some of Atlantas premier venues such as: The Tabernacle, The cotton club, The Atlanta Music Awards. just to name a few. Adam is currently Teaching at Fret Not Music Center, and Performing with Streamline Revelation and his orginal project Rear View Picture Show.-----ON THE LP----- JOHN TIRONE --Bass-- Started playing bass when he was 17 because he heard Zeppelin’s "The Lemon Song" for the first time and has been gigging ever since. After a few years he purchased his first upright and started taking private lessons with Bruce Gertz from Berklee College of Music. Eventually, he decided to attend Atlanta Institute of Music, where he befriended Marty, and studied under Gary Wilkins, Alan Barnes, and Russ Rogers. After graduation, John gained a solid reputation as a side man, and has played all over the east coast filling in for many bands, most notably the "Ink Spots.” John currently has spontaneously combusted!!!!!----ERIC REESE--Vocals-- Eric began singing at the early age of 4 after hearing Elvis with his dad. That was his earliest influence in music. Playing guitar and writing songs at an early age gave Eric the tools needed to join a band as a singer/songwriter. Chris Cornell and Steven Tyler have made the biggest impacts on his singing ability and can be heard throughout his songs. Armed with his powerful pipes, Eric is one of the loudest voices around today..
