About Me

I'm your average 20-something, wasting-my-college-degree-to-bartend, gained-ten-pounds-after-graduation, bought-my-first-house-last-year, love-to-play-golf-in-the-summer, totally-in-love-with-my-boyfriend, kind of girl. But, stuck somewhere beneath all that, is an intelligent person who will eventually get everything in order and make something of her life, along with starting a family before it's too late. Did I mention that I am a HUGE Cubs fan?...

My Interests

After a long winter, the beach sounds great...but sticking with my tomboy-ish profile...I am an avid golfer (and can embarass most men on the course), I just got into fantasy baseball, I'm a huge Cubs fan (it hurts, I know), and I am addicted to those Sudoku puzzles. Going out to the bar is also a past-time because, well, I work there!

I'd like to meet:

After all the times I've pondered the answer to this one, I STILL can't come up with that one person that has meant that much to me or affected my life in that sort of way. I guess I would have to go with Phil Mickelson (I got his autograph once, but I would love a round of golf or a sit down dinner-type of meeting). Or, if you want movie stars: Jen Aniston, Julia Roberts, Vince Vaughn, Tom Hanks, or Adam Sandler. And, I guess if you wanted some sap, meeting my mom or dad when they were my age would be something I'd be interested in.

Music:

Anything. I love country, and a little ghetto every once in a while. My favorite band/type of music would have to be Dave Matthews-y stuff, like John Mayer and OAR.

Movies:

THE BREAK-UP with Aniston and Vaughn...Steve and I are suing for copyright infringement :) ... Or, Old School 1980's stuff... Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Office Space... and most movies like Titanic, Pearl Harbor, and Saving Private Ryan, to name a few

Television:

HGTV. Especially Hidden Potential (with hottie Barry Wood)and Designed to Sell. I do try and catch the Sopranos and Family Guy, too.

Books:

Wow, I haven't read a book in ages, but I own a lot of Patterson and Steven King. The Harry Potter series is pretty good, too.

Heroes:

My sister................................... And Michael Barrett.

a letter to my hero

I don't really know where to start. Had I known 6 months ago what I would be feeling today, I think I may have done things a little differently. In my almost 29 years, I have had quite a few idols and...
