Influences: Soft rock, Driven ballads, Folk and Latin are influences you are likely to hear from the songs I write.Having been brought up in South America with an English Farther and an US Mother, may explain this.
Sounds Like: Recognisable by his powerful, gritty, and passionate voice, Jonathan's confident, convicted, yet non-threatening performance style; means that he can take you (an audience) on a soulful, gripping, humorous, emotional and intimate ride.Vocal similarities; Counting Crows, David Gray, Sting, Jack Johnson, James Blunt, Paul Weller, Stereophonics, Bryan Adams, etc.Jonathan has grown so popular that he now performs to a yearly audience of over 50.000 people. Jonathan cultural and cosmopolitan upbringing means that he has been able to incorporate most of all the mainstream musical styles into his performances.
Jonathan has recorded and played with many producers, bands and artists, such as Phil Collins, Steve Darell Smith, Max Preece, John Dent, China Crisis, Note for a child. Riccardi, Fearne, Tom Lillywhite..... and has played reputable venues such as The Mean Fiddler & The Kings Head (London), The Brook & The Joiners (Southampton), Poole Light House, Show Bar, Bliss and 1812 (Bournemouth).
Jonathan or JC as he is sometimes known, has appeared for the Princes Trust, Cancer Trust, National Childbirth Trust, Future 3000.
